Accommodation
Below are photos of some of the apartments in which our foreign teachers stay. We do not pay housing allowance on top of our teaching wage, so teachers pay for these apartments by themselves.
When a new teacher arrives, that teacher is typically replacing an outgoing teacher, so we place the new teacher in the outgoing teacher’s apartment. If the incoming teacher is not replacing an outgoing teacher, we will put that teacher up in one of the other teacher’s apartments, or in a local 4 star hotel, the Jing Yuan, until we can help him to find a place of his own. It takes between a day and a week for us to help a teacher find his own apartment.

Apartment 3: 2500RMB/month, 2 bedrooms
Apartment 4: 3300RMB/month, 2 bedrooms
Apartment 5: 3000RMB/month, 1 bedroom. (The teacher at this apartment bought his own furniture.)
Apartment 6: 3000RMB/month, 2 bedrooms
